The new Ferrari 430 Scuderia will join the road-going V8 line-up alongside the F430 coupé and the F430 Spider. The 430 Scuderia is a truly high-performance 2-seater berlinetta which demonstrates how Ferrari's Formula 1 know-how is carried across to its production cars.

The new model is a special series based on the F430 and is aimed specifically at Ferrari's most passionate and sports-driving oriented clients. Development focused on light weight, minimum trimmings and innovative technology. All this to exalt the car's extremely high-performance and ability to thrill the driver.

Google buys e-mail security specialist firm

Google Inc is buying e-mail security specialist Postini Inc for USD 625 million, fortifying the Internet search leader's effort to sell online software services to corporate customers seeking alternatives to Microsoft Corp's long-dominant products.

The all-cash deal announced on Monday is aimed at reassuring large businesses that have had qualms about entrusting Google to oversee their e-mail systems and other vital applications because of security concerns.

Google began selling companies a low-cost suite of online software that includes e-mail, calendaring and word processing in February, hoping to diversify its revenue beyond Internet advertising and perhaps siphon money away from Microsoft - one of its biggest rivals.

Although Google says an average of about 1,000 small businesses sign up to use its software applications each day, security worries had become a "road block" to even wider acceptance, said Dave Girouard, the executive in charge of the company's push into the corporate market.

Microsoft actually sells a million Zunes

Not a big number really considering Apple having sold a 100 million todate. But, this number is certainly heartening to those folks at Microsoft barraged with bad press from Day 1.

Poor Anti-Linux campaign by Microsoft

A section of the Microsoft website has been devoted entirely to a section called "Get the Facts" that tries to pump BS anti-Linux propaganda using a fictional newspaper title that reads "The Highly Reliable Times".

A highly unimaginative, desperate attempt guaranteed to attract ridicule even from those who are quite neutral/practical to the entire bit.
